Specs, explained

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

How big it is

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

Our A4 cars

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

What happens when you ask for a car

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What we check

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
