What the figures tell you

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $128.70 at our price setting.

Space and size

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Getting one from us

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

Requirements

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Your booking, in three steps

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Next step

If a car here fits, request it for your dates.
