Renting the 2021 Audi A4 Technik

This 2021 Audi A4 Technik page is written for a car with a driver: the car first, then renting it from us. Winter tires are an add-on on the SUVs that offer them. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

Java and the A4

The pages for Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners cover the areas next door.

What the specs mean

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

By the EPA's combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

What to expect from the A4

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

What you need to rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

How to book

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
