CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a diagnostic check on the Buick, we connect you with a trusted shop. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
What to ask
Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Between shop visits
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
