Arranging the work for the Rendezvous
Your 2005 Buick Rendezvous needs a diagnostic check? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Details the shop needs
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 3.4L 6-cylinder. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The 3.4L 6-cylinder, paired with a 4-speed automatic, drives it.
What to send us
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
Your rental while you wait
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Small things that help
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
A short checklist
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
Ready to ask?
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
