Car diagnostics: how we help
For a diagnostic check on the Chevrolet Forward Control, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Before the shop sees your Forward Control
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
From request to repair
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
Your rental while you wait
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Between shop visits
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.

Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
