The 1985 Chevrolet Forward Control: Car diagnostics
For a diagnostic check on the 1985 Chevrolet Forward Control, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
How we help
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Talking to the shop
If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Car care, briefly
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Ready when you are
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
