A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

Arranging the work for the GS
The 2012 Lexus GS and a diagnostic check: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Before the shop sees your GS
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. If you have the service history of your GS, have it ready for the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
The steps
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
Stay on the road
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Car care, briefly
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Let us know
Start with the car, the job and your location.
