Car diagnostics for the Porsche 911
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For a diagnostic check on the Porsche 911, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Your 911 and the shop
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the 911. If you have the service history of your 911, have it ready for the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
What to send us
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
A rental while you wait
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Before the shop starts
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
Good habits for your car
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Next step
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
