The Saturn: Car diagnostics
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For a diagnostic check on the Saturn, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Details the shop needs
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
How we help
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
What to ask
If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Car care, briefly
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
