Car diagnostics: how we help
For a diagnostic check on the Saturn Aura, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Your Aura and the shop
If you have the service history of your Aura, have it ready for the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Aura.
How the request works
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
Keep moving meanwhile
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Small things that help
Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
Talking to the shop
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
