The 2002 Saturn SC2: Car diagnostics
The 2002 Saturn SC2 and a diagnostic check: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Details the shop needs
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the SC2. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What we arrange
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
A car while yours is in the shop
We collect the rental when your car is back. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Car care, briefly
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
A short checklist
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Make a request
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
