Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. If you have the service history of your SL, have it ready for the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Under the hood: the 1.9L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive.
Our part and the shop's part
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
Keep moving meanwhile
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Small things that help
Look at the tire tread before long trips. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Talking to the shop
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Talk to a person
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
