Car diagnostics: how we help
For a diagnostic check on the 2002 Saturn SL2, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Before the shop sees your SL2
If you have the service history of your SL2, have it ready for the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What CarmaCars does here
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
A car while yours is in the shop
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Good habits for your car
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
What to ask
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
Send a request
