Car diagnostics: how we help
Your 2012 Scion xB needs a diagnostic check? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
About your xB
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the xB. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The engine is the 2.4L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and a 5-speed manual.
How the request works
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A car meanwhile
We collect the rental when your car is back. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Between shop visits
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Before the shop starts
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Send a request
Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
