The Scion: Car diagnostics
Searching for car diagnostics for the Scion? CarmaCars does not do this work itself; we arrange it with a trusted shop. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Details the shop needs
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
Our part and the shop's part
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
Driving while yours is at the shop
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
What to ask
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
Small things that help
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
When you know your dates
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
