The Scion xD: Car diagnostics
Car diagnostics for your Scion xD: arranged with a trusted shop, never done by CarmaCars, with a rental if you need one. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Details the shop needs
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
From request to repair
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
Your rental while you wait
Add a rental to the same request as the repair. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Small things that help
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
Before the shop starts
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Want a price?
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
