Ruby and the Q7

Next door to Ruby are Abbottsford, Atkins and The Lakes Mobile Home Park.

Specs, explained

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 11.4 L/100 km works out to about 34 litres per 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $199.50.

Living with the Q7

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Who it is for

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Renting it

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Booking in plain terms

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Renting: the basics

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
