Under the hood

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Energy use is rated at 15.6 kWh/100 km, about 47 kWh for 300 km. A full charge is rated for 568 km; plan for less in the cold. Every 100 km costs about $2.34 in electricity at our price setting.

Who rents the Model 3

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

What to expect from the Model 3

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. EPA lists 425 litres of luggage space, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Our Model 3 cars

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

The steps

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Make a request

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
