What we ask of drivers

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Booking in plain terms

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
