What the specs mean

The electric motor, paired with a 1-speed automatic, drives it. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

At 18.6 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 56 kWh. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. For 1,000 km, budget about $27.90 at our price setting.

What to expect from the Model 3

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Its 425 litres of luggage space fit a family's bags for a long weekend.

Who it is for

It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Renting the Model 3 from CarmaCars

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Booking made plain

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Checking your details

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

When you know your dates

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
