Under the hood

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. Rated range: 507 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. Expect about $2.79 per 100 km at our price setting.

What the Model 3 is like

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Renting this car

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Request, offer, keys

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What we check

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
