Renting for Java

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 7.9 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 24 litres of fuel. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $13.83, and a 300 km weekend about $41.49.

What the A4 is like

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. With a length of 4.76 m, it counts as on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person.

Requesting a car

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

What to bring

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Over to you

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
