The figures, translated

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated at 7.9 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 24 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $41.49 in energy at our price setting.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Living with the A4

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Measured bumper to bumper, it is 4.76 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Getting the car booked

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

What to have ready

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Over to you

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
