A note on Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

The pages for Selby, Lowry and Sitka cover the areas next door.

Engine and fuel

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo; drive: front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Fuel use is rated 7.9 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 24 litres. Expect about $13.83 per 100 km at our price setting.

Inside and out

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. NHTSA's Canadian figures put it at 4.76 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is 368 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

From request to keys

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What you need to rent

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Ready when you are
