Cross border car rental: silver 2020 Audi A4 Technik in Java

Cross border car rental and the 2020 Audi A4 Technik

For a car for a cross-border trip, the 2020 Audi A4 Technik is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent.

A note on Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Under the hood

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 24 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.9 L/100 km combined rating. In money, 1,000 km costs about $138.30 at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Space and size

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its length is 4.76 m, so it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

In our fleet

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

The booking steps

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Licence, age and card

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
