Car service: grey 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv in Ruby

Car service with this car

Here is the 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv, for anyone after a car with a driver. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

Ruby and the A4

Next door to Ruby are Elliot Mobile Home Park, Glenerie Lake Park and Mount Marion Park.

Under the hood

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, driving through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The EPA rates it at 8.3 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 25 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.87, and a 300 km weekend about $38.61.

What to expect from the A4

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Renting this car

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

The steps

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Checking your details

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
