The numbers in plain words

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.87.

Room inside

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Can I rent it?

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

Rules for renters

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

How it works

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
