Abbottsford, Atkins and The Lakes Mobile Home Park are the neighbouring places on our list.

Reading the spec sheet

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

The A4 in everyday use

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What you need to rent

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

When you know your dates
