The figures, translated

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, it costs about $12.87 to drive 100 km.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

The A4 in everyday use

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Booking in plain terms

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

What we need from you

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Your move

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
