Under the hood

Booking in plain terms

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What you need to rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
