Farmbrook and the X3

Close by are Hannover, Crestwood Village and Mountain Village, each with its own page.

Under the hood

It runs the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo, with all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The EPA rates it at 10.2 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 31 litres. Expect about $17.85 per 100 km at our price setting.

What to expect from the X3

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Who it is for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Renting it

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

From request to keys

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Who qualifies

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
