The figures, translated

The 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo does the work, through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 10.2 L/100 km works out to about 31 litres per 300 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $178.50 at our price setting.

Inside and out

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Good uses for the X3

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Renting this car

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

Licence, age and card

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

The booking steps

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
