Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

What happens when you ask for a car

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
