Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Around Java you will also find Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

Its 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo drives through an 8-speed automatic. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Combined fuel use is 9.0 L/100 km: about 27 litres for 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $41.85 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

What the 1500 is like

A pickup is long and tall, so plan for parking and low garages.

Our 1500 cars

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Rules for renters

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

What to expect when you book

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Next step

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
