Renting the 2020 Ram 1500 Limited

If a car with a driver is the plan, the 2020 Ram 1500 Limited is worth a look; here is why. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

Java and the 1500

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Also close to Java: Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Engine and fuel

Under the hood: the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo and rear-wheel drive. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

It is rated at 9.0 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 27 litres. For 1,000 km, budget about $139.50 at our price setting.

Who rents the 1500

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Space and size

A pickup is long and tall, so plan for parking and low garages.

Renting this car

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

What you need to rent

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

How a booking comes together

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

One more step

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
