Java and the Forester

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the specs mean

The 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated at 8.2 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 25 litres. Every 100 km costs about $12.71 in fuel at our price setting.

What the Forester is like

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Who rents the Forester

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Renting it

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What we check

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

How to book

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Over to you

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
