Under the hood

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Requirements

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
