Renting for Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Neighbouring areas include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

The figures, translated

The 1.8L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 7.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 22 litres of fuel. A 300 km weekend costs about $33.96 in energy at our price setting.

How big it is

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Renting the Corolla from CarmaCars

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The booking steps

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Driver requirements

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

When you know your dates

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
