Renting for Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Reading the spec sheet

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 7.9 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 24 litres of fuel. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $41.49 at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

What the A4 is like

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The length is 4.76 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Driver basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Request, offer, keys

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
