What you need to rent

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
