Engine and fuel

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $128.70 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

Inside and out

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

Your booking, in three steps

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Who can rent

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
