The A4 and Haystack

Places around Haystack include Petaluma, Lakeville and Penngrove.

Under the hood

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The EPA rates it at 8.3 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 25 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

What the A4 is like

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent this car

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

The steps

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Before you rent

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Next step
