The figures, translated

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo drives through an 8-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 28 litres, from its 9.3 L/100 km rating. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $43.26 at our price setting.

A good match for

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

How big it is

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic. In plain terms, its 481 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

In our fleet

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

How it works

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Before pickup

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Still deciding?

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
