What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Plan on about 28 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 9.3 L/100 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $43.26 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic. The EPA lists 481 litres for luggage, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

A good match for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Getting one from us

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

The booking steps

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Before you rent

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
