Getting the car booked

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Renting: the basics

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
