Engine and fuel

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

The combined figure, 11.4 L/100 km, means roughly 34 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $19.95 to drive 100 km.

Space and size

As a full-size SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

When the Q7 makes sense

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size.

In our fleet

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Licence, age and card

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Booking with CarmaCars

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
