Driver basics

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

What to expect when you book

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
