Car subscription: the 2023 Jeep Compass North

For a car by the month, the 2023 Jeep Compass North is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

The Compass and Java

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

If you are near Java, Selby, Lowry and Sitka are close too.

What the figures tell you

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It is rated 8.8 L/100 km combined: about 26 litres every 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $136.40 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

What to expect from the Compass

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Before pickup

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

The booking steps

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
