Specs, explained

The engine is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

A combined rating of 9.0 L/100 km works out to about 27 litres per 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $13.95, and a 300 km weekend about $41.85.

What the Sorento is like

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Best uses

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Getting this car from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Before you rent

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
